Learning Objectives:

  • Upon completion, participants will be able to describe the trajectory of physical function recovery in lung transplant recipients over a 12-month period.
  • Upon completion, participants will be able to compare the effects of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) use on functional outcomes such as 6-minute walk distance and grip strength.
  • Upon completion, participants will be able to interpret longitudinal changes in key rehabilitation outcome measures including 6MWT, grip strength, MIP, and gait speed between 6 and 12 months post-transplantation.
