Efficacy of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for Post-concussive Symptoms and Depression in Mild Traumatic Brain Injury: A Retrospective Clinical Analysis
Principal Investigator Center for Neurorehabilitive Services
Learning Objectives:
Demonstrate that transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is a safe and effective intervention for post-concussive and depressive symptoms in mild traumatic brain injury.
Explain the patient and treatment-related factors that predict differential responses to TMS for specific cognitive and affective symptoms.
Evaluate evidence showing that the efficacy of TMS does not diminish with time, supporting its role in sustained recovery after mild traumatic brain injury.
