This session explores cutting-edge, evidence-based behavioral interventions that are transforming the field of pain psychology. Participants will gain an overview of established treatments such as CBT and ACT, alongside newer, innovative approaches including Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy (EAET), and single-session interventions like Empowered Relief. Through clinical examples and research highlights, the talk will emphasize how these approaches reduce distress, improve function, and empower patients to live more fully. Attendees will leave with a deeper understanding of the evolving landscape of pain psychology and practical insights for integrating these strategies into interdisciplinary pain care.
