Dr. Carla S. Enriquez is an Assistant Professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Kean University with a joint appointment as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Johns Hopkins University. She is the Research Content Coordinator and her primary teaching areas are Biomechanics and Kinesiology, Research and Evidence Based Practice, and Doctoral Seminar course series. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Health Science with concentration in Health Education from Trident University International. Her Doctorate in Physical was earned from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Master’s Degree in Health Sciences from Rutgers University, and Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Silliman University, Philippines. She is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Her clinical and research expertise are in musculoskeletal physical therapy, orthopedic rehabilitation, chronic pain, pain neuroscience and education, Quantitative Sensory Tests, health services and outcomes research in acute and outpatient rehabilitation. She also actively serves as editorial board member and journal reviewer in various medical and health sciences journals. She has a sustained and productive scholarship which includes publications in various peer-reviewed journals including platform and poster presentations in various national and international professional conferences.
