Abigail Coskrey, MS, OTR/L is a dedicated Occupational Therapist at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab – Arlington Heights Day Rehab, where she plays a key role in interdisciplinary pain management and rehabilitation. As a leader in the Interdisciplinary Pain Specialist Team, she collaborates with physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, psychologists, and other rehabilitation specialists to develop evidence-based interventions for individuals with complex pain conditions.

With specialized training in functional cognition, motor learning, and mindfulness-based interventions, Abigail integrates cognitive and neurorehabilitation strategies into her clinical practice. Her expertise includes utilizing Cognitive Orientation to Occupational Performance (CO-OP), adaptive functional approaches for neurological rehabilitation, and mindfulness-based techniques to enhance patient outcomes. She also facilitates professional education through journal clubs and interdisciplinary case discussions, emphasizing the role of occupational therapy in pain management.
