Dr. Meng-Shan Lee is currently an assistant professor and the director of the music therapy equivalency program at Duquesne University, Pittsburgh. She has completed the doctoral degree in music therapy at Temple University in May 2023. During her graduate studies, she served as a teaching assistant for quantitative and qualitative research courses and served as a research assistant to faculty for a variety of studies. Meng-Shan was twice the recipient of the Taiwan Government Scholarship to Study Abroad. She received the prestigious Presser Foundation Graduate Award for her master thesis research (2017), and the AMTA Mid-Atlantic Region Research Award for both her master thesis (2017) and dissertation research (2022).
Meng-Shan presents regularly at regional and national conferences and is involved in multiple projects collaborating with multidisciplinary clinicians. Her role includes study development and design, protocol development and implementation, and data collection in REDCap and analysis.
