Leslie Marriott, OT, BCP is a senior II occupational therapist within the outpatient pediatric program as well as an education program manager in the Academy at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. She obtained her Masters in Occupational Therapy at McMaster University in Hamilton, ON, Canada in 2008. She received her board certification in pediatrics by the American Occupational Therapy Association. Leslie is a certified rater for the Assisting Hand Assessment. She has a specialty interest in the cerebral palsy population as well as those with neuromuscular and progressive diagnoses. Her clinical areas of interest include constraint-induced movement therapy, bilateral training, serial casting, orthotics for the upper extremity, cognitive approaches to learning and seating and positioning. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association in the children & youth, academic education and rehabilitation & disability special interest groups. Leslie continues to provide mentorship throughout the organization and teaching to to international partners
