Staci Chan, MS, OTR/L is an occupational therapist with 9 years of clinical experience serving medically complex, neurological populations at a level 1 trauma center. She demonstrates expertise in the acute inpatient rehabilitation practice setting to enable individuals’ self-efficacy and quality of life in returning towards meaningful roles after facing major life changing medical events.
Staci also blends her passions in research and design as an Inclusive Occupational Therapy Advisor, particularly within the adaptive fashion design industry. She utilizes occupation-centered and performance-based occupational therapy methodologies to co-design adaptive solutions with individuals with disabilities to empower individuals’ participation across self-care, leisure, productivity and community-based roles. On a systems level as a User Experience (UX) Researcher, Staci leads healthcare process improvement for organizational outcomes. Staci appreciates learning and collaborating with individuals across diverse lived experiences.
