I have extensive experience working under a principal investigator and with post-doctorates to help develop research protocols for spinal cord injury, Multiple Sclerosis, and subjects post stroke. I have collected, gathered, and analyzed data on subjects on gait kinematics, standing balance, lateral weight shifts during gait and during standing, correlating this with EMG and isokinetic strength output of the more involved lower extremity. I also run body weight support treadmill protocols consisting of pelvic perturbations and/or leg constraining on stronger side with varying magnitude, patter, and timing in the gait cycle to help lateral dynamic balance during overground walking.
