Katherine J. Kim is a first year resident physician completing a preliminary year in internal medicine at Adventist Health White Memorial. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Biology with a concentration in Statistics from Columbia University and a Medical Degree (MD) from University of California San Diego School of Medicine. Prior to medical school, Katherine worked as a clinical research coordinator at the Neurological Institute of New York, where she studied the cellular processes occurring during seizures through analysis of microelectrode and clinical EEG recordings. She is interested in pursuing a career in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) where she hopes to work with the pediatric population to help improve the quality of life for children facing physical disabilities. In her free time, Katherine enjoys reading, journaling, exploring libraries, volunteering at local sporting events, and practicing pilates and yoga.
