Josie Nordhagen is from Carlisle, Iowa. She attended Iowa State University. She was a cultural ambassador, participated in the biological sciences club, and was an undergraduate TA. Josie graduated with her Bachelor's of Science in Biology Magna Cum Laude in December of 2022.

Josie started her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy at Des Moines University in the fall of 2023. She is a peer tutor and a student researcher. She is set to complete fieldwork at Rush Pediatrics in Chicago, IL and at On With Life in Ankeny, IA. Josie is set to graduate in May of 2026.

After graduation, Josie plans to pursue getting her CBIS and desires to work as a clinical occupational therapist in a neuro-rehabilitation setting.
