Physical Therapy Supervisor

Melissa Chung, PT, DPT, NCS, is a physical therapy supervisor in inpatient rehab at NYU Langone Health Orthopedic Hospital Rusk Rehabilitation and a board certified clinical specialist in neurologic physical therapy. She is a faculty mentor in the NYU Rusk Rehabilitation neurological residency program and is also an adjunct faculty memberre in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at New York University. She received her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from New York University and has practiced in the field of neurological physical therapy since 2005. She has presented at a national and international level in the area of neurological physical therapy. She has also presented on the rehabilitation of patients with COVID-19 including a nationally presented webinar, "Inpatient Rehab Considerations for Patients with COVID-19" via the American Physical Therapy Association as well as a virtual continuing education course, "“COVID-19: Beyond Acute Care – Treating Patients in Rehab, Homecare and SNFs” via Education Resources.
