Michael Zervas is a Senior II Physical Therapist on the adult inpatient neurological rehabilitation unit at NYU Langone Health - Rusk Rehabilitation in New York City. He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Hunter College in 2015, his board certification in Neurologic Physical Therapy in 2018, and his board certification in Geriatric Physical Therapy in 2023. Michael has presented locally and nationally in physical therapy on neurological rehabilitation in the form of educational programming, platform presentation, and poster presentations at Combined Sections Meetings, the New York Physical Therapy Association, and the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy Annual conference. He has co-authored multiple publications in the field of physical therapy. Michael is a faculty mentor in NYU Rusk Rehabilitation's Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency program, is adjunct faculty at Hunter College’s DPT program, and a guest lecturer for NYU’s DPT program. Michael is also currently working part-time on his PhD in Physical Therapy Research at New York University.
