Sabrina Kabakov, OTR/L, PhD candidate at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. My dissertation is focused on using community-based participatory research to understand the cancer reintegration needs of children co-diagnosed with Down syndrome and leukemia. I will be exploring multiple perspectives of the role organizations play to support families, the caregiver needs and perspecitve, and child's reflection. This information will be used to support my future research agenda to develop resources to fill the identified gaps.
