Holder of a doctorate in clinical and biomedical sciences, Michaël Bertrand-Charette is a substitute professor at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi. His research interests focus on the interaction between motor control and pain, the study of clinical tools used in rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal injuries. His courses focus on neurophysiology and chronic pain in physiotherapy. Actively involved in research projects aimed at the continuous improvement of pain training for future physiotherapists, he holds the position of assistant director of PAINtalks. He also works as a physiotherapist in a private clinic.
