Rachel Hinrichs is a Health Sciences Librarian at Indiana University Indianapolis. As a librarian, she teaches health sciences and public health students how to find and evaluate information in order to make evidence-based decisions, and supports research productivity for faculty through literature searching, responsible use of research metrics, and open dissemination of scholarship. Rachel served six years as the Production Editor for the Evidence Based Library and Information Science Journal. She holds a master’s degree in nutrition science from Meredith College, and a master’s degree in library and information science from the University of North Carolina.
