As a recent PhD graduate from the Physical Rehabilitation Science Program at the University of Maryland, School of Medicine, Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science, I use motion capture systems and electromyography to characterize reactive balance deficits, aiming to develop balance training protocols to reduce falls in individuals with Parkinson's disease.
