Dawuud Abubakar received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in Ghana and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Nursing at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is also a registered nurse in Ghana, before coming to the US for his doctoral studies. His research interests include stroke, cardiovascular health, biomarker discovery, and secondary data analysis.
