Dr. Kim McCullough joined the faculty of Appalachian State in 2014. She is currently a Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders and serves as Graduate Program Director for the Master’s program in Speech-Language Pathology.
Dr. McCullough’s clinical activities and research focus on aging, mild cognitive impairment, dementia, and interventions for sustaining brain function. In addition to her classroom teaching responsibilities, Dr. McCullough frequently mentors student research projects/theses and provides clinical supervision for graduate students conducting community screenings and programming for older adults.
