Medical Student
Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine
I am a third-year medical student at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine with a longstanding interest in musculoskeletal health, shaped in part by my background as a former athlete. My experiences in medical school have further solidified my passion for caring for patients with musculoskeletal and mobility-related conditions.
I am pleased to submit our study on platelet-rich plasma (PRP), conducted in collaboration with Dr. Kadakia, our PI. Recognizing the limited data on PRP—particularly in foot and ankle applications—we undertook a retrospective analysis of all PRP cases at our institution, using PROMIS as a validated measure of pain and function. We recently submitted our findings to ARRCT, and I look forward to the opportunity to share our work at the upcoming ACRM meeting.
