Vaishnavi Sridharan is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Kinesiology and Community Health at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Her research integrates health psychology, neuroscience, and public health to develop resilience-based interventions for individuals with neurological disorders. She leads the iWalk intervention—a neuroscience-informed, mindfulness-based program that supports psychological adaptation in people with multiple sclerosis.
Vaishnavi brings interdisciplinary training in applied psychology and sport and exercise psychology, with prior degrees from the University of Mumbai and Loughborough University. She has experience in both clinical and community settings, including mental health helpline support and grassroots health education in underserved communities. Her scholarly work emphasizes translational impact and health equity, and she was recently honored with the William H. Creswell Graduate Student Award for her contributions to health promotion research.
