Alexa Mammen is a physical therapist at the International Center for Spinal Cord Injury at Kennedy Krieger for the last 4 years. She received her Bachelors in Physiology from Michigan State University in 2014 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from University of Maryland-Baltimore in 2019. She received her dry needling certification from Myopain in Dec 2022 and has been integrating dry needling into her care plan for patients with pain as well as spasticity. She also has a strong background in manual therapy in addition to the activity based restorative therapies practiced at Kennedy Krieger.
