Northwestern University
I am the Dunbar Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern University. Over the past 20 years, my work has utilized multiple neuroscience measures such as EEG and fMRI to examine transdiagnostic mechanisms and risk factors for various psychiatric conditions, with a particular focus on reward processing deficits in depression and anhedonia, more specifically. I have been PI/MPI of numerous longitudinal R01s that have examined the predictive power of brain-based biomarkers on prospective course of psychopathology. I also have extensive expertise in conducting psychopathology research using NIMH’s “RDoC lens” . Taken together, my expertise with the relevant subject matter and experience makes me well-qualified to serve as a co-author on this conference submission.
