Lorie Cashdollar is a dedicated and accomplished research professional with a strong background in psychology, neuroscience, public health, and clinical research coordination. She currently serves as a Project Coordinator at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (SRAlab). In her role she has led and assisted with multiple research projects including the Midwest Regional Spinal Cord Injury Care Systems (MRSCICS) project, the SCI International Length of Stay project, and the MENTOR Clinical Trial (Mindfulness, Exercise and Nutrition to Optimize Resilience). Her roles and responsibilities have spanned from IRB submissions, protocol development, participant recruitment, data management, and multi-site collaboration.
Lorie holds her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Cognitive Neuroscience from DePaul University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She further pursued graduate-level studies in Public Health at the University of San Francisco with a focus in Behavioral Health. She also received her Clinical Research Coordination Basic Training Certificate from Northwestern University in March of 2025.
Lorie's academic and research experience includes both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Her experience at SRAlab has honed her expertise in systematic reviews, qualitative analysis, and data integration across international projects focused on improving health outcomes and advancing rehabilitation science.
