Originally from San Jose, California, Taylor Webb is a dedicated and driven student currently in her third year of medical school at the University of Illinois in Chicago. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she earned a degree in Human Biology and Gender Studies. As a member of the Honors College, she graduated magna cum laude, demonstrating both academic excellence and a deep commitment to interdisciplinary inquiry.
Following her undergraduate education, Taylor took a gap year to further immerse herself in clinical research, working as a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Department of Dermatology at Stanford University. This hands-on experience not only solidified her interest in medicine but also provided her with valuable insights into patient care and the research processes that inform clinical practice.
Now in the midst of her medical training, Taylor continues to build on her strong foundation, with particular interests developing in health equity, pediatrics, spinal cord injury, and TBIs. Her journey reflects a consistent passion for science, humanistic care, and a commitment to making meaningful contributions to the field of medicine.
