Dr. Qinyin Qiu is an associate professor in the Department of Rehabilitation and Movement Science at Rutgers University and a leading expert in neurorehabilitation engineering. She holds an M.S. in Computer Science and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering. Dr. Qiu’s research is focused on implementing VR and exergaming in solutions for neurorehabilitation, developing innovations such as the NJIT Robotic Assisted Virtual Rehabilitation and TrackGlove systems. These technologies have supported multiple NIH and NSF-funded clinical trials, benefiting hundreds of patients since 2007. In 2020, she co-founded NeuroTechR3, where she serves as Chief Science Officer, pioneering affordable, personalized AI-driven rehabilitation solutions for brain injury patients. Her research has been widely published, and she continues to drive advancements in technology-supported neurorehabilitation. Her academic and professional achievements highlight her dedication to leveraging technology to enhance the accessibility and quality of patient care in rehabilitation.
