Dr Arora is a Senior Lecturer and Senior Research Fellow in the School of Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine and Health, The University of Sydney, and in the John Walsh Centre for Rehabilitation Research, Northern Sydney Local Health District, with 18 years of clinical and research experience in SCI rehabilitation. Dr Arora is internationally recognised for his expertise in the physical and psychosocial aspects of SCI. Dr Arora completed training in Physiotherapy (2002-2006) from an Indian University and a doctoral degree (2013-2017) at The University of Sydney. With a remarkable research funding of over $6.7 million, Dr Arora has published 70 peer-reviewed articles, including 47 articles in the last 5 years (871 citations and Field-Weighted Citation Impact of 1.18), authored seven book chapters, developed six educational modules for people with SCI, one guideline for health professional, and delivered 77 presentations, including 23 invited talks, at national and international platforms. Dr Arora has received 14 notable awards.
