Dr. Abou is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (Michigan Medicine) at the University of Michigan. He is interested in evidence-based practice in neurorehabilitation. His research concentrates on educational and task-oriented approaches to adjust motor control and prevent secondary impairments. Dr. Abou is interested in falls prevention in neurological populations including people with multiple sclerosis ans spinal cord injury. His ultimate research goal is to enhance functional independence and maximize quality of life of people after disability
