Alexa Grant received her undergraduate degree in neuroscience and psychology from Syracuse University in 2020. She is currently a doctoral student in the Medical/Clinical Psychology Doctoral program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). She works under the mentorship of Dr. Gitendra Uswatte and Dr. David Knight in the CI Therapy Lab, focusing much of her efforts on the study of cognitive outcomes for stroke patients after the Constraint-Induced Cognitive Therapy (CICT) intervention. Alexa was awarded with UAB’s Blazer Fellowship, as well as the Southern Regional Education Board’s (SREB) State Doctoral Scholars Fellowship in 2024.
