Kayla Coutts, PT, DPT is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy and Clinical Specialist at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation West Orange on the acute rehabilitation Brain Injury Unit. She is a leader for therapy in the Implementation of High Intensity Gait Training knowledge translation project, recently presenting on this group's work at the International Brain Injury Association's World Congress in March 2025. Kayla is a leader and mentor at Kessler for vestibular evaluations, the Kessler Institute Neurologic Residency program, spasticity management such as serial casting, and specific needs of brain injury patients such as management of disorders of consciousness and behavior. She received a 2024 Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy Early Career Professional Award.
