Dr. Akira Kimura is Professor of Physical Therapy at Gunma PAZ University, Japan, where he has served since 2010. He graduated from Kyoto University (1987) and earned his Master's degree from the University of the Ryukyus (1992) and PhD in Health Sciences from Kanazawa University (2008). Dr. Kimura has extensive clinical experience as a physical therapist and statistical analyst, having worked with SPSS Japan. His research focuses on rehabilitation science, assistive technology development for individuals with visual impairments, and the interaction between physical activity and health outcomes. He serves on multiple international committees and professional organizations in public health and rehabilitation sciences.
