Kevin Christensen OT, MOT is the Internal Process Control (IPC) Coordinator for Technology and Telehealth for Rehabilitation services at Intermountain Hospital. Before joining the IPC team with Intermountain, Kevin spent that last 7 years as an assistive technology specialist at the Utah Center for Assistive Technology helping clients and caregivers find technology solutions to a variety of problems. This often-included finding, building, or adapting custom solutions for unique client needs.
Kevin has a passion for technology and how it can improve our ability to access the things that bring us joy. This passion and experience has allowed Kevin to better understand why at times technology can be so frustrating or intimidating, and how to avoid some of the biggest barriers common to using technology with patients/clients.
Recently, Kevin has been working with Intermountain Rehabilitation frontline caregivers to start a technology loan library system and developing protocols for when/how to use virtual reality technology with patients.
