Post-Doctoral Fellow
Jefferson Moss Rehabilitation Research Institute
I earned my PhD in Kinesiology at Michigan State University where I was mentored in the Sport Concussion Research Laboratory by Tracey Covassin, PhD, ATC, FNAK, FNATA. During my doctoral studies, I also worked as a research assistant for the University of Michigan Injury Prevention Center on two National Center for Injury Prevention and Control Funded Grants (CDC Funded) focused on improving concussion care for high school and collegiate athletes. My early doctoral research focused on psychological outcomes and health-related quality of life following concussion in adolescent and collegiate athletes. My dissertation work explored the use of ecological momentary assessment (EMA) as a remote tool for monitoring post-concussion symptoms, aiming to enhance precision in treatment strategies. I am currently a post-doctoral fellow in the Brain Injury Neuropsychology Lab at Jefferson Moss Rehabilitation Research Institute mentored by Amanda Rabinowitz, PhD, where I will continue to investigate digital health tools for symptom monitoring in various traumatic brain injury populations.
