Anita Brandt is a PhD student in Rehabilitation Sciences in the School of Public and Population Health at The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). Her current research examines traumatic brain injury diagnostics, treatment and preventive measures against age-related decline. Her goal is to conduct research that will promote evidenced-based clinical guidelines and inform policy for aging populations with neurological conditions. Anita brings a multidisciplinary approach, combining rehabilitation science with population health methods to address real-world challenges facing TBI survivors.
