Sara Guilcher is a researcher, educator, and leader at the University of Toronto. She currently serves as Interim Chair and Graduate Chair of the Department of Physical Therapy and is an Associate Professor at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, with cross-appointments at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation and the Rehabilitation Sciences Institute.

Sara’s passion is making health care more person-centred, high-quality, and integrated. She leads the Optimizing Health and Healthcare Experiences (OPTI-HEx) Lab, where her team partners with people who have lived experience, care partners, health professionals, administrators, and system leaders to co-create solutions that improve care, experiences, and outcomes.
