Dr. Amrendra Miranpuri is a neurosurgeon specializing in neurovascular care, stroke intervention, and advanced neuro-interventional surgery. Dr. Miranpuri completed his MD at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Miranpuri's postgraduate training included a neurosurgical residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital & Clinics, where he served as Chief Resident, followed by a fellowship in neuro-interventional surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Miranpuri currently serves as the Program Lead for Stroke & Neurovascular Services at the Carle Foundation Hospital and as a Clinical Associate Professor at the Carle Illinois College of Medicine. His research focuses on advancing diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for cerebrovascular diseases, including ischemic stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, and neuro-oncology.
