Senior Clinical Research Coordinator
The Ohio State University
I have eleven years of clinical experience as a physical therapist working with individuals with neurological disorders and over ten years contributing to spinal cord injury (SCI), stroke, and neurodegenerative research. Over my career, I have been involved in more than 23 research projects across 5 labs. I now conduct research full time with a primary focus on functional and metabolic outcomes in SCI. Currently, I am the senior research coordinator at The Ohio State University in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation department. The Pro-SCI lab (Dr. Ceren Yarar-Fisher) and the Belford Center for Spinal Cord Injury include support from federal, state, industry-sponsored, and gift funds. Over my career, my research has consistently focused on advancing rehabilitation interventions, standardizing outcome measures, and identifying and implementing novel strategies to improve autonomic and metabolic function. My specific role within the research involves managing and implementing the studies, leading research teams, and organizing the workflow for the group.
