A. Personal Statement
For many years I was plagued by the effects of uncontrolled reflux. A therapist treated my diaphragm and the next moment I was provided profound relief. The diaphragm has many functions each with a realm of different medical specialists. Realizing that presently medicine is addressing the “acid” portion of the “acid-reflux” equation, and immersed in understanding the role of the anti reflux barrier in controling the entire reflux event, likening it to the “pelvic floor”.
