Chenjuan Ma, PhD, MSN, is a health services researcher and assistant professor at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing. Her program of research focuses on improving the well-being and safety of older adults via optimizing care delivery, access and quality, particularly in the home healthcare setting and vulnerable populations. Dr. Ma also has an expertise in large data management and analysis and advanced statistical modeling. She has served as PI and/or Co-I on several federal and foundation funded projects. Dr. Ma has published over 60 peer-reviewed papers and delivered approximately 60 presentations at national and international conferences. Dr. Ma’s scholarly activities and impact have been nationally recognized by leading organizations in health services and nursing.
Prior to NYU, Dr. Ma was a post-doctoral fellow at the National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators. Dr. Ma earned her PhD from the Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research at the University of Pennsylvania, and MSN and BSN from Xi'an Jiaotong University, China.
