Marin Smith, PT, DPT is a Senior Research Physical Therapist with The Geneva Foundation and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS). She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from The George Washington University. She currently supports research studies affiliated with the Musculoskeletal Injury Rehabilitation Research for Operational Readiness (MIRROR) organization, based out of the Department of PM&R at USUHS. These studies are in collaboration with PM&R, pain medicine, and orthopedic surgery. In addition to her research duties, she treats patients within the outpatient clinic at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and supports a multidisciplinary monthly clinic focused on peripheral nerve injuries.
