Clinton Neal is a nontraditional researcher with a background in psychology and cognitive science, focused on innovative neurorehabilitation methods. He holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Kentucky and has recently completed a systematic review comparing virtual reality mirror therapy with other VR modalities for post-stroke paralysis. His research interests include the intersection of virtual reality, motor learning, and neuroplasticity, particularly in underserved and physically limited populations. With a commitment to improving accessibility and equity in post-stroke care, he aims to pursue graduate-level research that explores immersive technology as a tool for physical therapy and cognitive recovery. He is looking to apply to Fall 2026 PhD programs this Fall.
