Anna Kate Adkins is currently pursuing a doctorate in occupational therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Anna Kate graduated from the University of Mississippi in May 2024, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and double minor in Neuroscience and American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting. She was a member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College, graduated with a 3.95 GPA, and consistently was recognized on the Chancellor's Honor Roll.
Anna Kate completed numerous observation hours in a variety of occupational therapy settings. In addition to clinical shadowing, she served as a Human Anatomy and Physiology teaching assistant at the University of Mississippi where she led labs, facilitated activities, and supported students academically. Anna Kate was involved in numerous leadership, extracurricular, and volunteer roles during her time at the University of Mississippi.
