Dr. Mickey Shah is a dual board-certified physical therapist in Neurology (NCS) and Orthopedics (OCS) with over 20 years of clinical, academic, and research experience. He earned his Doctor of Science in Neuroscience with a concentration in movement disorders and serves as Adjunct Faculty at Texas Christian University Burnett School of Medicine, teaching in areas of vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, and patient care.
Dr. Shah has secured more than $1.2 million in federal research funding, including a Phase II SBIR award with the U.S. Air Force to develop vestibular rehabilitation protocols using immersive technology. He is principal investigator on projects examining vestibular hypofunction, concussion rehabilitation, and spatial disorientation.
