Urooba is a Research Clerk at the BRIDGE Lab at the University Health Network. She is a recent graduate from the University of Toronto (HBSc Molecular Biology). She is passionate about research contributing to improving equity in health outcomes for people of all backgrounds and giving back to her community. She envisions herself entering the healthcare profession and practicing person-centered and evidence-based medicine. As a Work-Study trainee at the BRIDGE Lab, she contributed significantly to several projects concerning sex and gender in clinical and functional outcomes, including in people with traumatic brain injury. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
