Assistant Professor
The George Washington University
I have over 25 years of experience in research design, epidemiology, statistical analysis, and narrative analysis. As an epidemiologist and biostatistician, I have conducted research and provided analytical consultation in the areas of transfusion medicine, neurogenetic linkage and gene mapping, infantile feeding disorders, and health service utilization. In my current position at George Washington University, I offer analytical support to several projects within and outside the School of Medicine and Health Sciences for both faculty and students. Research includes adults learning, teaching practices, curriculum development, and strategic thinking. I am currently finishing my doctorate in Human Organization and Learning. My dissertation is a qualitative study that explores the sensemaking process of a family experiencing terminal illness.
