Md Nazmul Hassan, BScPT, MScPT, PhD (c), is a Physical Therapist from Bangladesh and a doctoral candidate in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). He currently serves as a Research Assistant at the CDC-funded National Center on Health, Physical Activity and Disability (NCHPAD). Before joining UAB, he worked for several years at the Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP) in Dhaka, Bangladesh, advancing to the position of Senior Clinical Physical Therapist. His research interests include rehabilitation sciences, health and wellness promotion, and improving the quality of life of individuals with spinal cord injuries and other disabilities. Hassan is dedicated to advancing evidence-based rehabilitation strategies and inclusive health promotion practices in both clinical and community settings.
