Annalisa is a speech-language pathologist who completed a Master’s of Arts degree in Speech Pathology at Ball State University. She is the co-owner/co-founder of Michiana Speech Lab, a neurological speech therapy private practice in South Bend, Indiana. She has clinical experience in outpatient rehabilitation and private practice working with adolescents and adults with a variety of neurological disorders including stroke, traumatic brain injury, concussion, Parkinson’s, and ALS. Annalisa has performed the assessment and treatment of disorders related to cognition, dysphagia, voice, fluency, speech and receptive/expressive language disorders. Her specialty areas include concussion and brain injury management. Her clinical research focused in these areas has been presented at state and national academic conferences. She serves as a clinical instructor for graduate students and guest lectures at local colleges in the undergraduate and graduate speech language pathology departments. Annalisa holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence with the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice in the state of Indiana.
