Dr. Cotner is a Research Health Scientist/Qualitative Core Director at the HSR Center of Innovation for Complex Chronic Healthcare (CINCCH) at the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital and assistant professor at the Morsani College of Medicine, Emergency Medicine, University of South Florida. Her research has focused on improving outcomes (health, quality of life, employment), improving access to care, identifying rehabilitation needs of service members and Veterans with disabilities (spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury) and their care partners, engaging stakeholders in the research process, and advancing implementation of evidence-based programs, practices, and policies.
