Dr. Dismuke-Greer is a Research Health Science Specialist at the Health Economics Resource Center (HERC), Veterans Affairs (VA) Palo Alto Health System. Her methodological areas include economic evaluation, statistical modeling, disability research, rehabilitation research, and community reintegration research. Dr. Dismuke-Greer is PI on the Health Economics Study for the Department of Defense (DoD)/VA-funded Long-Term Impact of Military-Relevant Brain Injury Consortium (LIMBIC) Award. She is also funded by other NIH, VA, and DoD grants in the clinical areas of Traumatic Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury. She has expertise in analyzing VA and DoD health system administrative databases. Dr. Dismuke-Greer was detailed to assist the Chief of the VA Office of Health Equity to translate health services research to policy to improve care for all Veterans. Dr. Dismuke-Greer has also conducted research and taught at a major university in Portugal while collaborating with the Portuguese Ministry of Health.
