Dr. Megan Young is a Senior Occupational Therapist at California Rehabilitation Institute (CRI) and co-team lead in the development of a novel neuro-oncology program, in collaboration with neurology and oncology specialists at UCLA and Cedar Sinai Medical Centers (CSMC). She completed rotations at MD Anderson Cancer Center within the neuro-oncology, leukemia, lymphoma, and head and neck cancer teams; Houston Methodist on the neurologic inpatient rehabilitation unit; and her post-doctoral fellowship at CSMC specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She helped to establish a cognitive rehabilitation program at CSMC that aimed to enhance provision of care for patients experiencing cognitive dysfunction across the rehabilitation continuum. She has extensive experience with interprofessional collaboration and program development and implementation in inpatient rehabilitation settings. She has a board certification as a Certified Neurologic Specialist and serves on an interdisciplinary committee to optimize care on the brain injury unit at CRI.
